Operating Hours: Monday to Sunday: 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Data Recovery Experts is a specialist hard-drive recovery service with over 20 years of experience. They focus on retrieving data from all types of storage—desktops, SSDs, external drives, and more.
Their process begins with a free, no-obligation diagnostic, so you only pay if they find recoverable data. You can also choose whether to arrange a local drop-off or secure a courier for collection. And if it weighs 2kg or less, return shipping is free.
What sets them apart is their ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications, which show their commitment to professional standards and environmental responsibility.
Their engineers use Class 100 clean rooms, 100-channel PC3K data extractors, and UDMA software. These are tools designed to recover data even from severely damaged drives.
They also claim a 98% success rate across hard drives, SSDs, RAIDs, and more. This provides reassurance to clients facing high-stakes data loss.
The only drawback I see is that they don’t offer long-term data backup or disaster recovery planning, which is valuable for preventing future data loss.
Professional and informative throughout, and managed to retrieve everything
“Couldn’t recommend this company highly enough. I thought I had lost all of the data including kids photos and videos from over the years from my external hard drive, which was bitlocker encrypted. Tried a number of companies, but Data recovery experts were quick to get back to me and continued with excellent communication throughout the entire process. Professional and informative throughout, and managed to retrieve everything; I couldn’t be happier.”

No corrupt files, nothing missing, just everything I needed
“A failed external hard drive resulted in me thinking I had lost a lot of media for my video production company that was going to take a lot of time, effort and explanation to make up for. Dave and his team recovered everything. No corrupt files, nothing missing, just everything I needed back to me in full working order. A very happy (and relieved) Saturday for me. They will be the first people I turn to for any similar problems in future. Highly recommend.”

Secure Data Recovery is a trusted data recovery specialist that can handle accidental deletions, hardware failures, or complex software corruption. They support almost all devices, including RAID arrays, USB drives, phones/tablets, and more.
I appreciate that they use clean-room techniques in a certified Class 10 ISO 4 environment. An added feature for precision and privacy is that they’re FIPS Level 3 validated, are authorised Apple Service providers, and accredited by the ICO.
During my consultation, they explained their “No Data, No Recovery Fee” guarantee plus fixed pricing. This gave me confidence that they really focus on their clients’ needs.
Customers also consistently praise their 96% recovery success rate. They’re professional and can handle complicated recoveries, even from physically damaged drives or corrupted RAID arrays.
My only gripe is that they don’t offer on-site emergency data recovery services. This can be crucial for businesses that need immediate access to critical data.
Had a full recovery and was done in a few weeks
“Hard drive fell and broke. It started making a tick tick tick noise. Contacted Secure data and spoke with them. They arranged FedEx to pick it up and gave a check and quote. Cost £1000 in the end as the heads had gone bad. In the end had a full recovery and was done in a few weeks saving a lot of precious work in the process. Lesson learned to back everything up going forward! Glad I had the professionals take a look, great customer service all round!”

I visited Dragon Data Recovery to learn more about what they offer, and I left genuinely impressed. Their focus on technical precision shows from the moment you contact them.
They specialise in recovering data from all types of devices, including hard drives, SSDs, RAID arrays, and more. Every case here is handled using industry-standard hardware like Ace Labs PC3000, DeepSpar Disk Imagers, and HDD Surgery tooling.
I also like that they use JBC soldering equipment, Apex Tool tools and AmScope microscopes in a Class 100 cleanroom facility.
Another standout feature is their flexible delivery options. Drives can be delivered in person, sent via courier or securely mailed through their website. Clients communicate directly with engineers in real time, ensuring transparency and confidence.
During my consultation, they walked me through the assessment, pricing, and recovery process. Their free assessment, fixed-price structure, and no-data-no-fee guarantee make the service client-focused and reassuring.
Unfortunately, they don’t provide long-term data backup or restoration planning. It is a crucial service for preventing future data loss after recovery.
Their expertise and customer service exceeded my expectations
“When my Seagate Portable Drive (SRD0SP0) suddenly became inaccessible and the volume wouldn’t even show, I thought I had lost everything. After researching data recovery services online, I decided to contact Dragon Data Recovery, and I’m so glad I did!
From my initial inquiry to the successful recovery of my data, the team at Dragon was nothing short of exceptional. They were professional, clear, and communicative at every stage of the process, keeping me informed about their progress and findings.
Their expertise and customer service exceeded my expectations, and they turned what could have been a stressful experience into a seamless one. I highly recommend Dragon Data Recovery to anyone in need of reliable and professional data recovery services.”

Start to finish, they were great
“Having searched the web I decided on this company to try to recover my lost data after my laptop had an accident. I’m so glad I did. Start to finish they were great. Full instructions provided every step of the way and further explanations given if not sure of something. Communication was excellent. Kept informed constantly of how it was proceeding. Price of the recovery service was put in writing before anything commenced with the option to say no. Some of the recovered data was “damaged” not unexpectedly, the majority of which was photos/videos being the largest data files but still happy with what I got. My documents/spreadsheets etc were recovered 100%.
The service is not cheap but still less than a set of new car tyres and you cannot really put a price on your life history.
I would highly recommend Dragon Data Recovery to anyone in the same boat as me and a lesson learned. BACKUP!
Thank you so much Steve and the Dragon team. Much appreciated. *****”

My cousin needed data recovery services, so I checked out Data Clinic, and it was easy to see why they’re trusted. Since 2002, they’ve grown into the UK’s largest and most technically capable recovery company while still handling individual client cases.
They specialise in advanced data recovery for almost all devices. This includes hard drives, RAID arrays, and USB drives. Their advanced recovery services handle complex physical and logical failures, ensuring all cases get handled professionally.
I also appreciated that the Data Clinic emphasises privacy and security. They’re fully GDPR-compliant, registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office, and offer Non-Disclosure Agreements when needed.
Their free UK-wide collection and 24/7 emergency services make the process smooth and reassuring for clients.
They also show commitment to the community, sponsoring Derbyshire Cricket Club, which I found admirable. Clear communication and technical expertise consistently get praised by clients.
One thing to note: as a 10-employee company, scheduling can take longer. This is especially true for complex, high-volume recoveries, so planning is important.
So happy that they recovered a good amount of my videos and photos
“My hard drive had stopped working and was making strange noises when trying to use it when I wanted to take some photos from the drive as i had experienced a sad family occasion, that was hard enough but knowing id also lost all my memories that i had kept on the drive especially from my children as babies and growing up. Id seen that data clinic had done work for top companies and data information was secure so got in touch with Chris initially to see what my issue was and if they could help, then Janice phoned to explain the processes that it would go through and the cost. Janice contacted me each stage of the process and there was no pressure to pay in advance and to help me they sent invoices for each stage and let me know what they found etc. They sent me a link to all the files for me to check through and they said they would take another look if there was anything missing. To be honest i didnt think id get much back but was so happy that they recovered a good amount of my videos and photos and a lot of precious memories restored, they returned these onto a new hard drive and even added the files that werent so good but still there. Highly recommend the team and would definitely go to these guys again if needed in the future.”

I am so relieved the data has been recovered
“After my phone breaking on the last day of my travels after sea water corrosion, I noticed that around 800 photos and videos of mine had not backed up to my iCloud due to poor WIFI connection where I was.
My local IQ store were no help which is what made me look for data recovery companies which is when I found Data Clinic. From the moment I submitted my enquiry on their website I was contacted the next day and talked through the process by Janice. As I live in Jersey also, they knew I was VAT exempt which made the process even better. After I posted my phone, they notified me as soon as they received it and had my data recovered in just a few days and my phone returned to Jersey within the same week period.
What I will say and this is no fault on data clinic as such is that the data recovery came back on a hard drive and the data was not in date order.
Luckily as my photos back up to iCloud only my recent photos and videos taken on the phone were of a high MB rather than a low resolution image from the photos that had already synced to my iCloud. Which meant I could sort the data out by their size and easily identify the content lost.
I am so relieved the data has been recovered as i thought so many photo and video memories had been lost especially after being told by IQ that the data was not recoverable as the phone screen was un responsive.
Do not hesitate to contact data clinic for your data recovery no matter what the damage is to your phone! They have been great :)”
