Grab the mic and sing your heart out at these 9 karaoke bars in Liverpool

Liverpool has a rhythm that’s impossible to ignore, and nowhere is it felt more than in its karaoke bars. Whether you’re hitting the stage for a cheeky duet or belting out ’90s anthems with friends, these spots turn any night into a mini concert.

From neon-lit lounges to a private booth where you can sing your heart out with an audience, the city’s karaoke scene is all about fun and a touch of friendly competition.

So if you’re feeling excited but not quite sure where to start your sing-along adventure, here are some of the best karaoke bars in Liverpool that promise unforgettable nights and plenty of high notes.

At Dive Bar Karaoke, you’re not just choosing a song, but you’re creating your moment. You step into their neon-themed stage and pick your “jam list” ahead of booking. Upon arrival, the band and playlist are ready and waiting.

Once you’re there, don’t forget to order the usual bar grub to fuel your performance. There are loaded fries and a few cocktails to keep the night alive. It’s the perfect setup for groups of friends and families who just want a stress-free jam session.

Pricing: ££

VOX Karaoke Cocktail Bar isn’t your run-of-the-mill karaoke spot. They have luxury private rooms outfitted with marble tables and elegant finishes. You and your crew can get your own high-end stage for the night.

I tried a clever deal: 2 artisan cocktails for £18, available Sunday through Friday. Plus, the smoked pineapple Mezcal fizz was a highlight, thanks to the dash of chilli-salt rim plus soda. You can also choose from berry-infused gins or citrus vodka with herbal accents.

 3. Nelly Foleys

Location: Charlotte Row, 53 Great Charlotte St, L1 1HU

Hours: Monday to Sunday: 12:00 AM – 2:00 AM

Pricing: ££

At Nelly Foleys, karaoke runs seven nights a week, and the mic is always open for brave singers. The atmosphere here is loud and fun-filled, with visitors contributing to the high energy. Sometimes, it’s like a mini nightclub on peak days.

You can also keep the drinks flowing with their budget-friendly pints and beers before 5:00 PM. However, if you prefer a steadier and calmer vibe, consider going earlier in the evening when the soundtrack (and crowd!) is still warming up.

 4. Smokie’s

Location: 53 Great Charlotte St, L1 1HU

Contact: +44 151 351 6714

Hours: Monday to Sunday: 8:30 AM – 2:00 AM

Pricing: ££

Smokie’s has chill Friday afternoon slots (12:00 PM – 4:00 PM) hosted by Bryan Cox, which is perfect for bonding with friends or family. Saturdays here are a whole other story. There are sports on the screens and karaoke available for all types of crowds.

Its placement on Great Charlotte Street puts it in a convenient city-centre spot, making it ideal for nights out or pre-event gatherings. If you prefer a quieter visit (for drinks and chat), aim for early in the opening hours.

 5. The Grapes

Location: 25 Mathew St, L2 6RE

Contact: +44 151 347 0086

Hours:

  • Sunday to Thursday: 12:00 PM – 2:00 AM
  • Friday to Saturday: 12:00 PM – 3:00 AM

Pricing: ££

The Grapes is actually a piece of music history with lively karaoke nights to match. We started by checking out the spot where The Beatles themselves used to hang out after gigs at the Cavern Club.

Inside, a marked table indicates where they sat, and photos and memorabilia celebrate their connection to the pub. Then, we dove into karaoke. Friday afternoons here are relaxed and calm, while Saturday nights cranked up the energy with live music and a full-on party.

 6. Kabannas: Kabin

Location: 27 Mathew St, L2 6RE

Contact: +44 151 908 0098

Pricing: ££

Kabin sits smack-bang in the heart of Liverpool’s legendary nightlife. Basically, you can stumble in and dance out (talk about convenience!).

We love the multi-activity bar set-up. There’s a private karaoke room for your inner pop star, a retro arcade, and an interactive darts lane. We booked one of Kabin’s karaoke rooms for a night out, and it was an absolute hit.

And because Kabin knows how to keep the fun flowing, their menu features expertly crafted cocktails and a self-pour wall. Yes, you can literally pour your own pint of draught beer or cider like a bar pro you’ve always wanted to be.

 7. Roxy Ball Room

Hours:

  • Monday to Thursday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
  • Friday: 1:00 PM – 1:00 AM
  • Saturday: 12:00 – 1:00 AM
  • Sunday: 1:00 PM – 11:00 PM

Pricing: ££

Roxy Ball Room is anything but ordinary. The walls are adorned with street art murals and plush booths, all of which are lined near the stage. The huge lyric screen here makes it easier for the crowds to sing along (even the shy ones).

And the drinks? Just as fun. I tried their “Sweet Child O’ Mine”, a wild mix of raspberry rum and bubblegum syrup. It was probably one of the highlights of the night as I continued belting out tunes from the ‘90s.

 8. Woody’s Sports & Karaoke Bar

  • Sunday: 8:00 PM – 3:30 AM

Visiting Woody’s Sports & Karaoke Bar is like walking into an ultimate party den. The place is decked out with glowing neon lights and walls plastered with posters. It kind of feels like being backstage at a concert.

While waiting for your turn on the mic, you can also try their £2.50 pints plus shots and alcopops for only £3-£5. Food-wise, Woody’s has a few crowd pleasers: crispy chicken wings and chips perfect for sharing after a karaoke showdown.

 9. PINS Social Club

Website: https://www.pinssocialclub.co.uk/

Location: 45 – 61 Duke St, L1 5AP

Hours:

  • Monday to Thursday: 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM
  • Friday to Sunday: 12:00 – 2:00 AM

Pricing: ££

My friend and I visited PINS Social Club, and it was a full-on entertainment venue. Their private karaoke booth allowed us to have a little jam session away from the main bar’s hustle.

We ordered food from Goldie’s Slice Shop and proceeded to entertain ourselves while waiting for our turn on the mic. There were bowling lanes, pool tables, and many more.

Another cool twist is their rooftop bar called “The Roof”, where you can chill after a karaoke session. It sits right above the main venue with its BBQ space and cocktail-serving bar.
